Markus is an artist, photographer and future archaeologist based in Zürich, Switzerland. His photographic work revolves around the continuum of human existence. He believes that a deep understanding and intentional use of natural light is essential to his work, as it is linked to the perception of time. He is not satisfied with just reproducing reality as he sees it but focuses on taking photos that convey meaning rather than just depicting scenes. In essence, his primary focus is to shoot photos about something, rather than simply of something.
