Creator Search

Find YouTube Influencers For Your Brand

Describe your brand in plain English. Get creators ranked on what their videos cover, who actually watches, and which brands have already paid them.

Scout does this part

How To Find YouTube Influencers.

Four moves from our sponsor guide. Use the first two on every search.

  1. Describe your buyer, not the creator

Your first search is not supposed to be right. Say who buys from you in one sentence, the way you would explain it to somebody new on your team. The best brief we ever got named zero channels: three kinds of customer, in plain English, and roughly where they live.

  2. React to the list instead of rewriting the search

When a list comes back 60% right, most people rewrite the whole prompt. Say more like these two, or this one skews too young, instead. Nine words of reaction teach the search more than ninety words of new brief, because you are pointing at something real.

  3. Ask for more creators like the ones you liked

The highest-leverage move, and almost nobody finds it alone. Once you can point at a real channel instead of describing a hypothetical one, everything improves, because a real channel carries a hundred attributes you would never think to type out.

  4. Look up who your competitors already sponsor

Somebody in your category already paid to learn which creators work. If a creator has run five deals with one brand they are probably locked up, but they are a perfect lookalike seed. Run this even if you already know who you want. It takes two minutes.

How To Find Small YouTube Channels.

Small channels are where budgets go furthest, and every search sorts them to the bottom. Three moves fix that.

Cap the subscribers

Set a ceiling rather than a floor. Under 100K is where most first campaigns get their best rate per view.

Sort on average views

A 40K channel pulling 60K views beats a 400K channel pulling 8,000. Subscriber count is a vanity sort.

Filter on sponsor history

A small channel that has run 5+ deals answers your email and quotes a rate. One that never has usually does neither.

A YouTube Channel Finder Built On Real Sponsor Data.

Other databases run on YouTube’s API, which says nothing about money. Ours reads the videos.

50,000+

channels indexed

Every one of them classified for whether it actually takes sponsorships, so a search returns creators you can buy rather than every channel that exists.

5+ years

of sponsorship history

Who paid each creator, when, how often, and whether it was a paid integration or affiliate. YouTube's own API cannot tell you any of this.

2,000,000+

sponsorships read from video

Descriptions and transcripts, not just metadata. Creators routinely run sponsored videos with no disclosure flag, so reading the video is the only reliable way to catch a deal.

Finding YouTube Influencers FAQ.

  • Describe what you sell in one sentence, or paste your website. Scout matches your product and customer against 50,000+ indexed channels and returns a ranked shortlist with a fit score, recent performance, and the brands that have already sponsored each creator. You do not have to guess at filters first.

  • Filter by subscriber range and sort on average views rather than subscriber count. A 40,000-subscriber channel pulling 60,000 views per video is a better buy than a 400,000-subscriber channel pulling 8,000. Scout also cuts dormant channels and brand-owned channels before you see the list, which is where most small-channel searches waste time.

  • Search on what a channel actually covers across its recent videos, not on a category label. Category tags are self-reported and thin. Scout grades topic relevance video by video, weighted by how often and how recently a subject comes up, so one passing mention does not make a channel a match.

  • A directory tells you a channel exists and how many subscribers it has. Babbl reads the videos themselves and extracts who paid each creator, 2,000,000+ sponsorships so far, so you also see sponsorship history, how often deals repeat, and when a brand stopped. That is the difference between a list and a buying decision.

  • Yes. Every channel carries its sponsorship history from a 5+ year archive: which brands ran with them, how recently, how often, and whether the deal was a paid integration or affiliate. You can also search the other way and pull every creator a given brand has sponsored.

  • Yes, the first 100 creators are free with no card and no sales call. Paid plans are sized by how many creators you pull each month and add verified contact emails and exports.
